Harima Badu Thunak is one of the more widely travelled Sinhala comedy stage plays of recent years, a production associated with actor and producer Asanga Fernando that has toured theatres around Sri Lanka and played to Sri Lankan audiences overseas. The humour is built on everyday domestic and social situations, played broad and quick for a family crowd, and the compact Punchi Theatre in Borella keeps the cast within arm's reach of the front rows.
The company performs twice on the same day, so you can pick an afternoon matinee or an early-evening slot.
