Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data IslandLive (operated by Revington Corporations (Pvt) Ltd) collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account data — name, email, phone number when you register.
• Order data — billing address and city, the tickets you buy, and the payment reference returned by PayHere. We never receive or store card numbers.
• Usage data — anonymised page-view counts. We store a one-way hash, not your IP address, and it cannot be linked back to you. With your consent, Google Analytics additionally collects usage statistics as described below.

How we use it

• To deliver e-tickets and order confirmations by email.
• To verify tickets at event entrances.
• To show organisers aggregate, anonymised sales statistics.
• To rank popular events on the site.

Sharing

Payment data is shared with PayHere (our payment processor) to complete transactions. Attendee names on tickets may be visible to event staff at check-in. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

Retention and your rights

Order records are retained for accounting purposes. You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by contacting support@islandlive.org.

Cookies

• Essential cookies — required to keep you signed in. These are always on.
• Analytics and advertising cookies (with your consent) — Google Analytics 4 (traffic statistics), Google Ads (conversion measurement) and Google AdSense (display advertising). These load only after you choose Accepton the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the page footer.

Advertising and analytics

If you accept advertising cookies, Google may use cookies and device identifiers to measure ad performance and to show you ads, including personalised ads where you have consented.
