Business events in Battaramulla

Battaramulla is the closest thing Sri Lanka has to a government and corporate quarter, and its business calendar shows it. Ministries, state agencies and the head offices that followed them out here generate a constant run of policy forums, stakeholder workshops, launches, training programmes and residential conferences, hosted in the lakeside hotel and convention complexes on the Diyawanna and in the function rooms of the office towers. Many are invitation-only, but sector conferences, expos and professional-body events here are open and usually registered for online in advance. Weekday scheduling is the norm, and the roads around Parliament back up badly at the end of the day.
