Era of Marians
Marians, fronted by Nalin Perera, headline an outdoor night at Waters Edge on 2 October with Rookantha Goonatillake, Kasun Kalhara, Chamara Weerasinghe and Jayasri. Seats from LKR 5,000, tables from LKR 40,000.
An open-air evening at Waters Edge given over to the catalogue of Marians, one of the longest-serving bands in Sri Lankan popular music, supported by guest vocalists drawn from noticeably different corners of the local scene.
Marians, fronted by Nalin Perera, headline the night. They are joined by classically trained singer Rookantha Goonatillake, composer and vocalist Kasun Kalhara, Chamara Weerasinghe, and the reggae-leaning duo Jayasri. Seating is split by category, with eight-seat tables for groups who want to sit together.
