Refund Policy

Organiser-set refund policies

IslandLive, operated by Revington Corporations (Pvt) Ltd, is a ticketing platform — each event organiser sets the refund policy for their own event, including whether refunds are offered at all, eligibility windows, and any conditions. Check the event page or contact the organiser before purchasing. Where an organiser has not published a policy, the default terms below apply.

Service fee

The 10% service fee charged at checkout is non-refundable in all cases, regardless of the organiser's refund policy — including cancelled or rescheduled events. Approved refunds cover the ticket price only. The sole exception is duplicate or failed payments, which are refunded in full.

Cancelled events

If an organiser cancels an event, the organiser is responsible for refunding ticket holders. Unless the organiser specifies otherwise, refunds are issued for the full ticket price (excluding the service fee) to the original payment method within 14 working days. You will be notified by email.

Rescheduled events

If an event is rescheduled, your tickets remain valid for the new date. Whether a refund is available if you cannot attend the new date is decided by the organiser — by default, you may request one within 7 days of the reschedule announcement.

Change of mind

Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind unless the organiser's policy allows it. Contact us and we will check with the organiser on your behalf.

Duplicate or failed payments

Payment errors are handled by us, not the organiser. If you were charged but did not receive tickets, or were charged twice for one order, contact us with your order number and we will refund the duplicate or missing charge after verification with PayHere.

How to request a refund

Email support@islandlive.org from the address on the order, including your order number (EVT-…). We forward eligible requests to the event organiser; approved refunds are processed through PayHere to the card or account used for payment.
