Haus of Dots hosts the Sri Lanka debut of ryota, a DJ from Osaka, on Tuesday 27 October. His sets draw on breakbeat, drum and bass, UK garage and bass music. Two things widened his audience beyond Japan: his first Boiler Room Osaka appearance, and a back-to-back with Fred again.. that spread widely online.
He is also one of the founders of FULLHOUSE, an event series and collective started in 2019, whose events in Japan have featured Sherelle, Skin On Skin, Sammy Virji, salute, Partiboi 69 and Yung Singh.
The opening set comes from bangus, on his second Dots booking in October, having recently played Glastonbury and Gottwood in the UK. Music runs from 7pm to 1am at Dots Bay House, Hiriketiya. Early Bird tickets are Rs 4,000 and General Admission Rs 5,000, with tables bookable on +94 777 00934.
