Mathakaya Asurin — මතකය ඇසුරින්

Retro Sinhala pop is the whole programme here. Marians back the vocalists Annesley Malewana and Indrani Perera through the songbook of Clarence Wijewardena, the writer responsible for a large part of the 1970s and 80s Sinhala pop canon, in an evening pitched at listeners who grew up with those records and at families bringing a younger generation along. Mathakaya Asurin takes place at the BMICH in Colombo on Saturday 24 October 2026, starting at 7pm.
