Sakura Japan Drama Evening
Unius Entertainment stage an evening of Japanese drama, billed as a first for the Sri Lankan stage, at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre in Colombo from 3.30pm on 28 August 2026.
Japanese stage style, down to the costume that belongs to it, is what Unius Entertainment carry into the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre in Borella, Colombo, from 3.30pm on 28 August 2026. Their Sinhala-language notes bill the evening as the first of its kind on the Sri Lankan stage, and describe an attempt to keep the flavour and the stagecraft of popular Japanese drama as they are played at home.
