Thaala Samaggraha
Peshala Manoj headlines a rhythm-driven open-air music night at the Viharamaha Devi Open Air Theatre in Colombo on 19 September, with reserved seating from LKR 5,000 to LKR 10,000 and unreserved seats at LKR 3,500.
Thaala Samaggraha is a rhythm-led Sinhala music concert fronted by Peshala Manoj, staged outdoors at the Viharamaha Devi Open Air Theatre in the middle of Colombo's Viharamahadevi Park. The name turns on thaala, the rhythmic cycles that anchor Sri Lankan and South Asian music, so the evening is built around percussion and the momentum it gives a live band, played under the open sky on one of the city's oldest performance stages.
Most of the house is reserved seating at three price levels, with a cheaper unreserved block for anyone happy to take what is free on the night.
