Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Provider Course — August 2026
Three-day ACS-certified Advanced Trauma Life Support provider course at the College of Surgeons of Sri Lanka in Colombo, combining lectures, hands-on skill stations and simulated trauma cases. Rs. 120,000 for medical officers.
The College of Surgeons of Sri Lanka runs its Advanced Trauma Life Support provider course over three days in Colombo, drilling the ABCDE sequence — airway, breathing, circulation, disability, exposure — that governs the first hour of trauma care. The format is blended: lectures alternate with hands-on skill stations, triage drills and simulated group trauma cases, so candidates practise decisions under time pressure rather than only hearing about them.
Doctors who complete the programme receive the ACS-certified ATLS Provider qualification, valid for four years and recognised internationally. Places are limited and registration runs through the College.
