Mokshaa Hiriketiya (August)
A soundproofed garden club in Hiriketiya running late-night Friday sessions through August, opening at 11.50pm once the beach bars close. Tickets are sold per person for each date.
Mokshaa is Hiriketiya's late slot. It is a soundproofed garden club that only opens its doors at ten to midnight, by which point the beach bars have called it a night — the room is built so the music can keep running without carrying across the bay, which is exactly why people end up there. Expect DJ-led electronic sets and a crowd of travellers, seasonal residents and locals who have no intention of going home yet.
Tickets are sold per person and each Friday in August is booked separately. Note the final date of the month starts nine minutes later than the rest.
