Secret Jungle Party Arugambay (August)
The east-coast edition of the Secret Jungle Party, held every Friday in August at Crocodile Point just south of Arugam Bay. Doors at 7pm on a single general-access ticket.
This is the east-coast spin-off of the Hiriketiya original, pitched at Crocodile Point — the rocky headland a short ride south of the main Arugam Bay strip. It runs every Friday through August and picks up the surf crowd once the light drops off the water: a rig set up in the scrub, DJs working through house and afro-house, and dancing that carries on well past midnight.
Entry is a single general-access ticket and comes in well under the price of a Colombo club night, which is part of why it fills up. The site is a straightforward tuk-tuk hop from town.
